Drammen Football Club (DBK), is a sports club from float in Drammen. The club was established on 14 August 1909 as a merger between the clubs Idun and Spring, both founded in 1908. [1] In the beginning was the Drammen Ballklubb a pure football, but eventually was skiing, ski jumping, and bandy important activities of the club. In 1930 the club played NM finale against the Eagles and lost 2-4. Club came quarterfinals both in 1949 1958 either met made Skeid which either year came to finals.
Today it sports soccer, cross country and bandy that is in focus. The club have today (2007) 800 members of which 500 are active athletes.
Drammen Football Club took up hockey on the program just before the 1952 Olympics. It was played Olympic hockey fights at NRK, and the club played their first games in advance of the tournament.
